Everyone has Joker inside!

When I saw Batman: The Dark Knight, my friend kept on asking why Batman did not kill Joker as he came across many chances. For him, it’s a piece of cake! It is too silly and stupid.

Do you agree with her?

Some say no! It is because Batman wants to glorify justice. In other words, an evil man as Joker should be put on trial in the name of justice. Or else, he violates his belief and what he is pursuing. Of course, this answer is quite make-sense, isn’t it?

Nevertheless, can we put it this way? My argument is ‘everyone has a joker inside’, thus what Batman wants to achieve is to defeat the inner one. What is the inner joker? It is our fear, desire, anger and all sort of negative and positive emotions. Like Batman, we are constantly challenged by our inner joker. So my answer is – it is not wise for him to kill Joker because it makes the inner one existed forever – this is the reason why Batman does not kill Joker.

May be it is not quite right to say that we all have a joker inside. Be more precise, we all like Double Face – we get fifty-fifty. What makes the difference? It is ‘choice’!

What a poor Batman, outwardly, he will be chased forever in order to satisfy citizens’ demand for justice. What a lucky Batman, since then he will be free inwardly.

At last, everyone was still bounded by the appearance of justice except Batman. In other words, only Batman penetrated the appearance of both justice and evil, He transcended and freed himself from the representation. It was not the citizen abandoned him but Batman did it himself. He was no longer in need of being the symbol of justice outwardly and inwardly. He was free!

So we can spot everything outside easily; however, we usually blind ourselves inwardly. We try our very effort to tackle everything outside but not willing to work on ourselves.
